Come Aboard The World's First & Only Home Theater Theme Cruise

A theme cruise is a cruise vacation that incorporates the personal interests of its passengers. In our case, the passion is Home Theater. Our 8th Annual Home Theater Cruise will bring people together to share their interests and ideas, within a relaxing, stress-free environment. The cruise offers a way to make friends and extend our personal knowledge of Home Theater and entertainment.

The cruise was conceived by David Bott, a Home Theater enthusiast, and this year is being produced by Home Theater Cruise, LLC., a company formed by David Bott, founder of AVS Forum, and Gary Reber, founder, publisher, and editor-in-chief of Widescreen Review.

What can you expect? First and foremost-a deluxe cruise to Western Caribbien aboard the Carnaval Freedom. This magnificent ship also offers you use of a full health club facility with a complete range of equipment at no extra charge! If you find yourself in need of some special pampering, there is an onboard spa offering, at additional charges, a variety of services which include massages, mud baths, hair styling, etc.

All your meals are taken care of and exotic drinks are only a "snap" away. Evening entertainment includes first-rate shows and nightclubs that line the main deck. The only things you will really need to pay for after you arrive to the ship are store items, shore excursions, and adult drinks and soft drinks. All the entertainment is included on the ship from the Las Vegas style shows, to the various clubs.

But what makes this a "theme cruise" is that you will also be able to attend special talks and get-togethers on the subject of Home Theater! From manufacturers to industry professionals, it will all be there. And don't worry, the times for these events will take place during the days we are at sea; not during one of the wonderful ports of call. And we won't schedule them at night when you'll be out enjoying the various shows, clubs and the casino. (Unless we have a great party planned!)
